As India continues to urbanize and "westernize" (rightly or wrongly is a matter of judgment), this chasm between traditional India and the deracinated occidental India will widen.
Sure, India will remain Hindu. But there will be these pressures to make Hinduism more like the other "world religions".

।।3.35।।रागद्वेषयुक्त मनुष्य तो शास्त्रके अर्थको भी उलटा मान लेता है और परधर्मको भी धर्म होनेके नाते अनुष्ठान करनेयोग्य मान बैठता है। परंतु उसका ऐसा मानना भूल है अच्छी प्रकार अनुष्ठान किये गये अर्थात् अंगप्रत्यंगोंसहित सम्पादन किये गये भी परधर्मकी अपेक्षा गुणरहित भी अनुष्ठान किया हुआ अपना धर्म कल्याणकर है अर्थात् अधिक प्रशंसनीय है। परधर्ममें स्थित पुरुषके जीवनकी अपेक्षा स्वधर्ममें स्थित पुरुषका मरण भी श्रेष्ठ है क्योंकि दूसरेका धर्म भयदायक है नरक आदि रूप भयका देनेवाला है।

अगर कर्ण के जीवन पे ध्यान दे तो इस बात का एहसास होगा कि इस इंसान श्री राम के बाद आदर्शो पे चलने के सबसे उत्तम उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया ।
अपने आदर्शो के लिए सब कुछ दाँव पे लगा दिया पर आदर्शो का साथ नही छोड़ा
1.सब कुछ जानते हुए भी अपने नियम नही तोड़े और इंद्र को कवच कुंडल दे दिया ।
2. दुर्योधन का साथ नही छोड़ा , दोस्ती का मान रखते हुए
3. युद्ध के सभी नियमो का पालन किया जबकि विरोधी पक्ष सभी नियमो को तोड़ चुका था
4.महीना भर पहले मिली माँ को पांडवो को न मारने का वचन दे दिया
कर्ण ने वो सब किया जो एक आदर्श इंसान को करना चाहिए । इसके लिए कर्ण को इतिहास में बहुत सम्मान मिला जिसकी कीमत आगे चल के पूरे हिंदुस्तान को चुकानी पड़ी

Well it’s being debated for long (at least since 19th cent.) and I don’t claim to be an expert. It doesn’t come out in the public discourse esp on the right that we are prospering with varying degrees as an economy and as a state; but the civilisation is on life-support, The problem is that the discourse on the right focusses on cultural issues and not civilisational issues. What’s the diff? Civ is the hard infra on which culture develops. So if “literature, poetry and songs” is culture, “language” is civ. Similarly slowly nudging the constitution to align with the underlying values of the civ should be a stated objective of the right ( de-recognising the idea of religion beginning with ban on conversion, freeing temples).

पोस्टर जगह जगह चिपकाये जाते थे, और हर खाली दिवार पर नारे लिखे होते थे | कविताओं, नारों के जरिये अपनी बात, बहुत सस्ते ढंग से, बार बार लोगों के सामने रख दी जाती थी |
देश के अन्दर उन पोस्टरों का मकसद होता था उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देना और जीते हुए इलाकों में वो कहते थे “आप सीमा पर है”, लड़ना आपका धर्म है ऐसा सन्देश जाता था |
अब इसके उदाहरण में “कोंग्रेस का हाथ आपके साथ” जैसे नारे को देखिये | थोड़े साल पहले के “गरीबी हटाओ” या फिर “जय जवान जय किसान” को सुनिए | बैंकों और कई उपक्रमों को निजी से सरकारी कर दिया गया | इसके थोड़े समय बाद हरित क्रांति, श्वेत क्रांति जैसे अभियान चलाये गए |
घर पर उत्पादन बढ़ाना था, इसलिए “गरीबी हटाओ” और “जय किसान”, वहीँ एक बाहर के शत्रु का भय भी बनाये रखना था, इसलिए “जय जवान” भी होगा “जय किसान” के साथ |
इन सब के बीच नेहरु, इन्दिरा और राजीव के चेहरे रखे गए बीस बीस साल के अंतराल से | ऐसा नहीं था कि और दूसरे नेता प्रधानमंत्री नहीं थे कांग्रेस से, लेकिन एक ही चेहरे को लगातार सामने रखना जरूरी था | इसलिए शास्त्री जी पुराने ज़माने में और नए ज़माने में नरसिम्हा राव दरकिनार कर दिए गए |
एक ही परिवार, एक ही वंश आपका तारनहार है, इसलिए नेहरु गाँधी परिवार ही आगे रहा, हर पोस्टर पर हर नारे के साथ आपकी आँखों के सामने | इसे ही धीमे तरीके से हर सरकारी योजना का नाम एक ही परिवार के नाम पर कर के पुष्ट किया गया |
आप चाहे भी तो भी “गाँधी” सुने बिना नहीं रह सकते | सारी योजनायें इन्दिरा, राजीव के नाम पर ही हैं, गाँधी तो नाम में रहेगा ही |
9. जातिवाद– अल्पसंख्यको को आपका शत्रु बताना
प्रथम विश्व युद्ध और 1929 के वाल स्ट्रीट के नुकसान की वजह से उस समय जर्मनी की हालत बड़ी ख़राब थी | जैसे बरसों भारत की आर्थिक स्थिति अमरीकी डॉलर के गिरने और अरब के तेल की कीमतों के उठने की वजह से रही हैं, कुछ वैसी ही |
इसका इल्ज़ाम नाज़ी पार्टी ने यहूदियों पर डाला | उन्होंने बार बार ये कहना शुरू किया की यहूदी कौम ही शुद्ध जर्मन लोगों के बुरे हाल के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं | ये यहूदी कौम कहीं और से आ कर जर्मनी के असली वासिंदों का शोषण कर रही है | यहूदियों को बलि का बकरा बनाया गया |
उनके कार्टून बाज जैसे नाक वाले, भौं सिकोड़े, दुष्ट व्यक्ति जैसे बनाये गए | मौका पाते ही हर चीज़ का इल्ज़ाम उनपर थोपा गया और ईमानदार “स्वदेशी” व्यक्ति के पैसे चुराने और ठगने का इल्ज़ाम उन पर थोप दिया गया |
अब इस आलोक में भारत के जातिवाद को देखिये | बहुसंख्यक को छोटी जाति का बताया गया, और ब्राम्हण, राजपूत, कायस्थ जैसी जातियों को उनका शोषण करने वाला साबित किया गया | समर्थन में एक ऐसे ग्रन्थ (मनुस्मृति) का उदाहरण उछाला जाने लगा जिसके सत्रह अलग-अलग पाठ हैं |
किसी ने ये बताया की किस राजा ने किस काल में इस ग्रन्थ के हिसाब से शाषण किया था ? नहीं न ? आपने पुछा भी नहीं होगा | पूछ के देखिये, पता भी नहीं चलेगा |
लेकिन बहुसंख्यक की गरीबी का इल्ज़ाम किसी कपोल-कल्पित ब्राम्हणवाद पर थोप कर “गोएबेल्स” के उपासक निश्चिन्त थे | बिना साक्ष्य, बिना प्रमाण किसी ब्राम्हणवाद को दोष देकर वो अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी से मुक्त रहे |
आजादी के इतने सालों में मनुस्मृति के बदले संविधान लगा देने पर भी शिक्षा, स्वास्थ या जीवन शैली जैसी चीजों में बहुसंख्यक समुदाय कि हालत और ख़राब ही क्यों हुई है ये किसी ने नहीं पुछा | हर कमी के लिए कहीं बाहर से आ कर बसे "आर्य" जिम्मेदार थे |
यहाँ आप समाज के एक तबके को डरा कर रखना भी देख सकते हैं | एक समुदाय विशेष को कभी ये नहीं बताया जाता की आपकी शिक्षा या आर्थिक बेहतरी के लिए “गोएबेल्स” समर्थक क्या कर रहे हैं | ये भी नहीं बताया जाता की भारत में तीन लाख मस्जिद हैं जितने दुनिया के किसी अन्य देश में नहीं हैं |
सिर्फ ये पूछना है की अगर आप बहुसंख्यक हैं तो आप ब्राम्हणवादी तो नहीं ? या “सेक्युलर” हैं या नहीं | धुर्विकरण का काम पूरा हो जायेगा |
8. रेडियो, टीवी, इन्टरनेट – जन संचार के माध्यमों पर कब्ज़ा
1933 में जोसेफ गोएब्बेल्स ने कहा था की रेडियो सिर्फ 19वीं ही नहीं बल्कि 20वीं सदी में भी उतना ही असरदार माध्यम रहेगा, वो इसे “आठवीं महान शक्ति” मानता था |
उसने जर्मन सरकार से रडियो में इस्तेमाल होने वाले उपकरणों के उत्पादन में आर्थिक छूट (subsidy) भी दिलवा दी थी ताकि सस्ते रडियो का बनना शुरू हो सके | इन रडियो सेटों की क्षमता इतनी ही होती थी की वो पास के स्टेशन पकड़ सकें |
इस तरह लगातार जर्मन और ऑस्ट्रिया के स्टेशन से प्रचार जनमानस तक पहुँचाया जाता था | द्वित्तीय विश्व युद्ध शुरू होने तक पूरा देश ही रडियो के जाल में आ चुका था | इसके जरिये उत्तेजक भाषण और ख़ास तौर पर डिजाईन किये हुए “समाचार” पूरे देश में सुनाये जाते थे |
अब इसे पुरानी फिल्मों के रडियो के साथ याद कीजिये | ब्लैक एंड वाइट के ज़माने में एक बड़ा सा सनमायका का डब्बे जैसा रेडियो होता था | फिल्मों में ये सिर्फ अमीर लोगों के घरों में दिखता था |
फिर इन्दिरा गाँधी के भाषण जब रेडियो पर आने शुरू हुए, लगभग उसी ज़माने में सस्ते ट्रांजिस्टर भी आने शुरू हो गए | ये बिना बिजली के बैटरी से चलते थे, गाँव देहात जहाँ बिजली नहीं पहुँचती थी वहां भी कांग्रेस की आवाज पहुँच जाती थी |
जब जमाना टीवी पे पहुँच गया और “गरीवी हटाओ” के नारे के वाबजूद गरीबी नहीं हटी तो एक नया ट्रांजिस्टर नेपाल से आ गया, इसमें रिचार्ज होने वाली बैट्री लगती थी, कीमत और भी कम | “हमने देखा है, और हम देखते आये हैं की..” सुनाई देता रहा |
चुनाव के ज़माने में इसका इस्तेमाल केजरीवाल ने भी किया था | और आजकल हमारे प्रधानसेवक भी इसे चलाना सीख रहे हैं |
7. फिल्म और सिनेमा – मनोरंजन के जरिये
जर्मन घरों के अन्दर तक घुसने के लिए नाज़ी पार्टी ने वहां भी नियंत्रण किया जहाँ जनता पैसे खर्च करके जाती थी | 1933 में ही Department of Film भी बना दिया गया, इसका एकमात्र मकसद “जर्मन लोगों को समाजवादी राष्ट्रवाद का सन्देश” देना था |
शुरू में इन्होने शहरों में फिल्म दिखाना शुरू किया, फिर धीरे धीरे नाज़ी सिनमा बनाना भी शुरू किया | दो अच्छे उदाहरण होंगे Triumph of Will जिसमे की 1934 के नुरेमबर्ग की रैली का किस्सा है और The Wandering Jew जो की 1940 में आई थी और यहूदी लोगों को बुरा दिखाती थी |
अब भारत की फिल्मों को देखिये, हाल के विश्वरूपम को याद कीजिये की कैसे उसका प्रदर्शन रोका गया था, फिर हैदर को याद कीजिये | मंगल पाण्डेय में दिखाई मंगल पाण्डेय की तस्वीर याद कीजिये, सरफ़रोश का वो अल्पसंख्यक सब इंस्पेक्टर याद कीजिये जो की देशभक्त था, लेकिन कोई उसे पूछता नहीं था |
रंग दे बसंती का सीधा साधा सा अल्पसंख्यक युवक याद कीजिये जो अपने चाचा के कट्टरपंथी रवैये पर भड़क जाता है, फिर उस दुसरे बहुसंख्यक समुदाय के युवक को याद कीजिये कि कैसे दिखाते हैं कि वो नेताओं के बहकावे में था | अब नयी वाली किसी फिल्म PK को भी याद कर लीजिये |
अगर ये कहने की सोच रहे हैं कि ऐसे धीमे से इशारे से क्या तो ये याद रखियेगा कि फिल्म में हीरो “कोका कोला” या “पेप्सी” पीता तभी दिखाया जाता है जब ये कंपनी पैसे दे रही होती हैं |
कौन सा लैपटॉप इस्तेमाल होगा उसके भी पैसे मिलते हैं | अगर कंपनी ने पैसे नहीं दिए तो, कंपनी का Logo धुंधला कर दिया जाता है |
6. अख़बार – छपने वाले दैनिक पर नियंत्रण
विचार और मंतव्य को मोड़ने का सबसे शशक्त माध्यम अख़बार होता है | नाज़ी अख़बारों में सबसे कुख्यात था Der Sturmer (The Attacker या हमलावर) | गोएरिंग के दफ्तर में इस अख़बार पर पाबन्दी थी, इसे जूलियस स्ट्रैचर छापता था |
अपने अश्लील लेखन, तस्वीरों, भेदभाव भरे लेखों की वजह से ये दुसरे पार्टी के सदस्यों में बड़ा ही प्रचलित था |हिटलर खुद भी इसकी बड़ी तारीफ़ करता था, कहता था ये सीधा “सड़क के आदमी” से बात करती है और वो इसे मज़े से पहले पन्ने से आखरी पन्ने तक पढता है |
अभी का हमारा समय देखें तो कुछ “सामना” और “पांचजन्य” जैसे हिंदी अख़बार हैं, या फिर “रणबीर” जैसे उर्दू में कुछ | इन्हें ख़रीदने वाले लोगों वैचारिक झुकाव एक तरफ़ होता है तभी वो इसे पढ़ रहे होते हैं | लेकिन इनके अलावा हमारे पास कई और अख़बार हैं जो कि निष्पक्ष होने का दावा करते हैं |
चाहे वो हिंदी के “दैनिक जागरण”, “जनसत्ता”, “हिंदुस्तान टाइम्स” या “प्रभात खबर” जैसे हों या फिर “टाइम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया”, या “हिन्दू” जैसे अंग्रेजी अख़बार, पढ़ने वालों को उनकी राजनैतिक निष्ठा का पता रहता है |
हर रोज़ सुबह थोड़ा थोड़ा करके कैसे आपको अपने विचारों से भरा जाता है इसका अंदाजा तो आज के सभी पढ़े लिखे भारतीय लोगों को है | एक सुना है “इंडिया टुडे” ग्रुप होता था, काफी चर्चा में था, क्या हुआ पता नहीं !
5. आत्मकथा – किताबों के जरिये पार्टी को “दिव्य” बताना
हिटलर ने जेल में Mein Kampf लिखना शुरू किया था, उस समय Munich Putsch नाकामयाब हो गया था | अपने जीवन में अपनी राजनैतिक विचारधारा का योगदान, और एक काल्पनिक शत्रु के विरुद्ध वैमनस्य को फ़ैलाने का किताब से अच्छा तरीका नहीं था |
किन्ही सोलह पार्टी सदस्यों की मृत्यु को शहादत घोषित करते हुए इस कथा को उसने अपने पूरे जीवन काल में जिन्दा रखा | करीब एक करोड़ प्रतियाँ इसकी द्वित्तीय विश्व युद्ध के समाप्त होने तक बिक चुकी थी | आज भी बिकती हैं...
वैसे मुस्सोलनी का कहना था की ये किताब “ऐसे बोरिंग टोन में लिखी गई है की वो इसे कभी पूरा पढ़ नहीं पाया” | इसमें कुछ बताने की शायद ही जरुरत है,किसी किताबों के शौक़ीन आदमी से पूछ कर देखिये | दो चार ऐसी किताबों का नाम पता चल जायेगा जो लगभग हर किताब पढ़ने वाले ने कभी न कभी खरीदी है |
इसके अलावा आप अपने स्कूल कॉलेज की इतिहास कि किताबें उठा लीजिये | भारत के 300 AD से 1100 AD तक का इतिहास दूंढ़ लीजिये, फ़ौरन दिख जायेगा कि कैसे स्वर्ण काल कहे जानेवाले गुप्त काल के सिर्फ़ एक राजा का जिक्र है |
कैसे “Headless Statue of Kanishka” कि तस्वीर तो होती है लेकिन उसके काल का वर्णन नहीं होता | हर राजवंश 250-300 साल में ख़त्म हो जाता है, लेकिन 800 साल राज करने वाले चोल साम्राज्य का जिक्र नहीं है |
बड़े भवनों का जिक्र हो तो आप ये तो बता सकते हैं कि ताजमहल किसने बनवाया लेकिन ये नहीं कि अजंता और एल्लोरा कि गुफाएं किसने बनवाई | आप ये तो बता दें शायद की क़ुतुब मीनार किसने बनवाया लेकिन क्या तोड़ कर् बनाया था ये नहीं पता |
यहाँ तक कि मुग़ल साम्राज्य में भी आप औरंगज़ेब और बहादुर शाह जफर के बीच के राजाओं का नाम भी नहीं जानते | नहीं बहादुर शाह जफ़र जहाँगीर का बेटा नहीं था !
इन सारे लोगों का जिक्र किस के महिमामंडन के लिए किया गया ? और पिछले पचास साल को इतिहास मानते भी नहीं जब कि आज का भारत तो इसी 1947 से आज तक में बना है न ?
4. विरोधियों के खिलाफ दुष्प्रचार – अपने विरोधी को राक्षस बताना
नाज़ी कई लोगों को अपना विरोधी मानते थे | देश के अन्दर भी और विदेशों में भी उनपर प्रचार का हमला जारी रहता था | किसी भी विचारधारा पर विदेशी ज़मीन पर हमला करने के लिए प्रचार बहुत अच्छा हथियार था |
विरोधियों को ब्रेन वाश का शिकार, बुद्धू दिखाया जाता था, और जर्मन लोगों को बौध्दिक तौर पर उनसे श्रेष्ठ बताया जाता था |
अब जब राक्षस और आदमखोर भेड़ियों कि बात छिड ही गई है तो कौन किस विरोधी को नरभक्षी, इंसानों के खून से रंगे हाथ वाला बताता था ये भी याद आ गया होगा !
चुनावों को ज्यादा दिन तो हुए नहीं हैं | अपने विरोधी दल के समर्थकों को मानसिक रूप से पिछड़ा, बौध्दिक क्षमता न इस्तेमाल करने वाला अंध भक्त, मैला खाने वाला, किसी संगठन के हाथों खेलने वाला कहना तो अब भी चलता ही रहता है |

3. मिथकीय कहानियां, लोक कथाएं और धार्मिक मान्यताएं
नाज़ी विचारधारा के “volk” (फोल्क) में मिथक और लोककथाओं का बड़ा महत्व था | नाज़ी पार्टी की अपनी मान्यताएं धर्म पर स्पष्ट नहीं थीं, हिटलर के मामले में तो कहा जा सकता है की वो भटका रहता था |

यहाँ धार्मिक मान्यताओं की अस्पष्टता तो दिखेगी ही, प्राचीन हिन्दू प्रतीक चिन्हों का अपने फ़ायदे के लिए इस्तेमाल भी दिख जायेगा | इसके अलावा अभी पच्चीस दिसंबर को मनाया गया “डेविल्स डे” भी है |
इसमें अनेक ईश्वर को मानने (हिन्दू धर्म की तरह) को निशाने पे लेना भी दिखेगा | धार्मिक मान्यताएं अस्पष्ट होने के उदाहरण वैसे भी राजनीति और अन्य क्षेत्रों में भरे पड़े हैं |
होली पे पानी की बर्बादी न करने की सलाह आती है, दिवाली पर लक्ष्मी के घर आने की हंसी उड़ाई जाती है, बकरीद पर अहिंसा का पाठ भी पढ़ा देंगे !!
लेकिन, किन्तु, परन्तु, Thanks Giving पर मारे गए तीतरों पर आत्मा नहीं रोती और पता नहीं कैसे, जिस Santa Clause का पूरे बाइबिल में जिक्र नहीं, वो रात गए घर में गिफ्ट रखने आता है तो वो अन्धविश्वास तो हरगिज़ नहीं होता !
2. संगीत और नृत्य – अच्छे को ग्रहण कर लेना
हिटलर के मुताबिक जो तीन अच्छे संगीतकार थे, और जर्मन संस्कृति का प्रतिनिधित्व करते थे, वो थे Ludvig van Beethoven, Anton Bruckner और Richard Wagner
इनमे से Wagner के यहूदियों के प्रति विचार कुछ अच्छे नहीं थे ( उन्होंने 1850 में “Judaism in Music” नाम का एक लेख लिखा था जिसमे यहूदियों को सभ्यता को जहर देने का दोषी करार दिया गया था )

इस तरह जर्मन अतीत के महिमामंडन के लिए संगीत का इस्तेमाल हुआ और उससे विरोध को कुचलने का एक अनोखा तरीका नाज़ियों को मिल गया |

एक भ्रान्ति फैला दी गई की इनका इस्तेमाल सिर्फ़ ताल देने के लिए किया जा सकता है, सुर में इनका योगदान नहीं होता और इनसे हमेशा एक सा ही सुर निकलता है | ऐसा कहते समय तबला-डुग्गी, मृदंग जैसे वाद्य यंत्रों को देखा ही नहीं गया, किसी ने विरोध भी नहीं किया |
नतीजा वही हुआ जो होना था | आज पाश्चात्य संगीत के साथ जब ये mixed music की तरह आता है तो जनमानस इसे पचा जाता है | कभी किसी पंद्रह से पच्चीस के युवक या युवती को ये सिखाने की कोशिश करें तो वो भारतीय संगीत के सात सुरों के बदले “So, La, Ri, To...” वाले सात सुर सीखना ज्यादा पसंद करेगा
करीब साठ साल का भारतीय संगीत और नृत्य को नीचा दिखाने की कोशिश काम आई है यहाँ |
1. फ्यूरर (हिटलर को इसी नाम से बुलाते थे)

अब अभी के समय में बरसों पुराने जख्मों को कुरेदना अगर याद दिलाना पड़े तो कहना होगा “Poverty is a state of Mind” | किसी ख़ास मुद्दे पर नहीं, सिर्फ विरोध की जन भावना को उकसाना याद दिलाना भी समय बर्बाद करना होगा |
अपने लिए समर्थन में जन भावनाओं का इस्तेमाल करना, अपने विकास अपने काम को नहीं, नेता के लिए समर्थन को जगाना सीखना हो तो इन्दिरा गाँधी की मृत्यु के बाद की राजीव गाँधी की जीत और राजीव गाँधी के मरणोपरांत सोनिया की रैली याद कीजिये |
उकसाना सीखना है तो भ्रष्टाचार विरोध के आन्दोलन के तुरंत बाद राहुल गाँधी का प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में कागज़ फाड़ना याद कीजिये | जयललिता के जेल जाने पर लोगों की आत्महत्या याद कीजिये, बरसों बिना विकास के बंगाल में टिके रहने वाले ज्योति बासु को याद कीजिये |
वंश कई हैं कोई भी उठा लीजिये, जो लोगों पर नाज़ी होने का आरोप लगाते हैं वो सब ये गोएब्बेल्स वाले तरीके आजमाते दिख जायेंगे |
अब अगर आपका ध्यान गया हो तो यहाँ गिनती उलटी है | शुरू दस पर और ख़त्म एक पर होती है | इस से दो पैराग्राफ पढ़ते ही आपको लगने लगेगा की अगला वाला मुद्दा, इस वाले तरीके से भी ज्यादा जरूरी होगा |
सदियों पहले जब चीनियों ने शांति से जीवनयापन की बात सोची तो उन्होंने बड़ी सी चीन की दीवार बना डाली। उन्होंने सोचा था कि इतनी ऊंचाई की वजह से कोई इसे पार ही नहीं कर पायेगा ! चीन की दीवार बनने के सौ वर्षों के अन्दर चीन को तीन बार विदेशी हमले झेलने पड़े।

चीनियों ने दीवार तो बनाई लेकिन मजबूत चरित्र और नैतिक मूल्यों वाले द्वारपाल बनाना भूल गए थे।
ये सिर्फ इतना बताता है कि किसी भी निर्माण से पहले, शुरूआती चरण होता है नैतिक मूल्यों का विकास। एक प्राच्यशास्त्री ने इस बारे में कहा है कि किसी सभ्यता को ख़त्म करने के तीन निश्चित तरीके हो सकते हैं :
१. परिवार का विघटन
२. शिक्षा का ह्रास्व
३. प्रेरणास्रोत और आदर्शों को गिराना
१. परिवार के विघटन का सबसे आसान तरीका है स्त्री के सम्मान, उसके मूल्यों का पतन। उसके एक पोषक और परिवार के स्तम्भ के रूप को निकृष्ट साबित करो। उसकी सुरक्षा की भावना का नाश कर दो। उस से उसका आत्मसम्मान छीन लो और उसे भय और गुलामी जैसे माहौल में डाल दो। परिवार नष्ट हो जायेगा।
२. शिक्षा के नाश के लिए शिक्षक का स्तर गिरा दो। उसके सोचने समझने पे पाबन्दी हो, उसकी गरीबी और शारीरिक मानसिक अवस्था से वो आगे सोच ना पाए ऐसी व्यवस्था कर दो। उसके छात्र उसे सम्मान ना दें, समाज में उसका स्थान तिरस्कृत हो।
उसे ऐसे घेरे में डाल दो जहाँ उसके कार्य का कोई व्यावहारिक मुल्यांकन ना हो सके, केवल उसका उपभोग एक बार किया जा सके।
३. प्रेरणास्रोत के अवमूल्यन के लिए दार्शनिकों और विद्वान/ पंडितों को नीचे गिराओ। उन्हें विवादों में उलझाये रखो जहाँ उनका समय संघर्ष में जाए ना कि रचनात्मक कार्यों में।
उनके आय के स्रोत बंद रखो और उनपर तबतक सवाल उठाओ जबतक लोग उनकी सुनना और उनका अनुसरण करना बंद ना कर दें। उनसे एक ही, यानि अपने पक्ष की प्रशंसा लिखवाओ। स्तुति ना करने वालों को बहिष्कृत और दण्डित करो।
जब ना तो चरित्र का निर्माण करने वाली माँ होगी, ना बुद्धि को पोषण देने वाले शिक्षक, और प्रेरणास्रोतों का क्षरण हो चुका होगा तो युवाओं को नैतिक मूल्य सिखाएगा कौन? इस बारे में सोचकर देखिये।अपने आस पास देखिये। हमारे आस पास की ऊँची दीवारों में भी कहीं हमलावर घुसे हुए तो नहीं दिखते ना?
कोई लक्षण दिख रहे हैं क्या? पिछले साल उषा पंडित जी की पोस्ट के हिंदी अनुवाद में ये लिखा था जिसे इस वर्ष सिर्फ फिर से दोहरा दिया है। पिछले साल की तुलना में इस साल शायद इस सवाल का असर ज्यादा होल
क्योंकि बलात्कार के जघन्य मामलों में हिन्दुओं पर झूठे दोषारोपण का कुकृत्य अभी हाल में ही भारत के हिन्दुओं ने झेला है।
बाकी सवाल ये भी है कि शाहरुख़ खान वाली ‘डर’ फिल्म से पहले एकतरफा प्रेमप्रसंगों में लड़की पर तथाकथित प्रेमी के हमला करने की घटनाएँ शायद ही किसी ने सुनी-पढ़ी होंगी
अब ये अखबारों की आम खबर है। सौ-दो सौ की भगवद्गीता और रामचरितमानस जैसी किताबें खरीद के आप घर लायेंगे या उस पैसे से आपका बेटा फिल्म में खिलज़ी को देखकर ‘प्रेरणा’ लेगा ये आपको ही सोचना है। सोचिये, फ़िलहाल सोचने पर तो टैक्स नहीं लगता।

Once upon a time Hindi's Devanagari script was written in 2 different ways...
Then a few missionaries in Danish colony in Bengal and their rival press in Bombay changed it forever !
If you read old manuscripts of Sanskrit / Hindi you would notice many strange characters in them. Characters no longer used in modern Hindi.
They were called the Calcutta style of Hindi. While the modern form is called Bombay style.
Why these names? Herein hangs a tale.
In late 18th century, Baptist missionaries led by William Carey wanted to setup a press in Bengal for printing church literature locally. Denied permission by East India company who feared a backlash, they found haven in Danish colony of Serampore.
"Serampore Mission Press" produced many English works. But didn't have a "typeset" (wooden engraved block letters) for Hindi. They hired Panchanan Karmakar from Wilikins' press in Calcutta who created Bengali and later Devanagari script typeset.
Panchanan Karmakar was an ex blacksmith and the Hindi typeset created by him (called Calcutta style ) at Serampore press became popular as the press produced thousands of books .
Carey's book on Sanskrit Grammar was the 1st book printed in 1803 with this typeset.
Marathi was originally written in two scripts - Balbodh and Modi scripts.
Modi was more popular for business and other day to day works.
Balbodh was a slight variation of Devanagari. This difference is what is now called Calcutta vs Bombay style of writing Devanagari.
Some letters like अ, ण, झ in Bal bodh script etc are similar to Modi script than Devanagari
Economic need to have a common Devanagari typeset that could serve both Marathi and Hindi led to popularization of Bombay style Devanagari especially among printing presses in Bombay.
The demise of Calcutta style Hindi script was precipitated by three more events. Arrival of Hindi typewriters, computer fonts of Bombay type and eventually keyboard used in mobile for Bombay typeset.
Languages and scripts like living beings evolve, adapt or die out. Modi script, Calcutta style Hindi script are testament to that. The need to connect with people doesn't die out however. So keep the language wars in check
