....LIKE A PRISONER HOWL BEHIND

The dot and the colon
Are the horses of the chart
with their sound and sense,
They lead to the heaven.
Where midday light blinds the eyes,
the tired beggar sleeps,
the Shadows gives him his alms,
the sleep at the protecting root of a tree.
 Slowly the moon is raising,
with a pale face at evening,
this moon seems weary and confused,
for the reflection in the Ocean.

They say that the first sign of progress in yoga are a sense of bodily lightness, health, freedom from craving, a beautiful voice, pleasant odor and better digestion. Therefore, do dhyaan everyday for well being and freedom from inner conflict.
So when you learn to that, then one part of your is in disturbance and the other part is watching that disturbance Try to shift your focus to that part, the seer who is watching the disturbance. Come into that and then you can tell yourself that i am not the one who is in distubance, but i am watchig the distubance, i am drishta, you can! This is one more kind of practice of atam sadhana , to be a drishta in distubances. You just have to slide yourself upwards in your mind. What happens is that the mind geta mixed in the distubances, in the anger, in the ashanti, so, even while your bodyis trembling or your inside is trembling, then also you can shift yourself a bit, make yourself seperate, to keep detaching yourself from the trembling inside and outside.

What is drishta?

It is opposite of 'doer'

The doer enters into everry situation. Suppose that situation is not for you because it is not necessary  that god has made each job for you, still the doer will enter each job, two people will be talking and he will goand poke hia nose there. If any decison is being made , he will enter and ineterfere . Everywhere he will enter and hr will get a bashing. Now, we are shifting from 'doer' to 'seer' . So, he becomes an observer. He does not try to enter everything. Even if he is part of it, he sits quietly and watches.

'let us see what parmatma wills, let us see where his will take us.'

The drishta makes his mind quiet inside, A lot of distubances is happening but let me be a drishta and see what is God's will after all. Let me see where all this is leading.

Suppose we are all sitting in a cricle, he is also sitting , but in the mind , the drishta make himself go a bit back. Not with the body, only with the mind. Physically you will have yo sit wherever god makes you sit. If there is a big fight going on in your house and od has made you sit right there, you will have to sit through it because of Nirakar,

तावच्च प्रतिमा पूज्या यावद्विज्ञानसंभवः
ज्ञानाभावे न पूज्येत पतनं तस्य निश्चितम् ||

but in your mind, you can shift from there. That is called drishta.  The one who moves his mind away from there and says,

"let me watch! After all, what will happen?" You just watch.

Why we do jaap is because we don't yet know how to be a seer; so atleast if we do jaap we won't be involved in the scene, your everything will remain intact; your mind your sense organs, your heart, all will remain at peace, but when you learn the art of being the seer. Youwon't need jaap at that time. Now you need isit because you have to cling to something positive when your mind is in so much turmoil. So say 'Ram Ram' or 'Om Shri Gang Gnpate Namah'. Otherwise you will get entangled in the scene.

You are not the ser if you are part off the scene. Drishta means away ffrom the scene. Now, when you learn to step back and to watch, you are part of it but you are watching and your mind has taken a step back. No matter what happens. You will just keep watching. ' let us see the will of godis, let us see where this leela will reacb.' you will become the see outaide. Then you see the whole world  as one scene. You will be away from it. You will really enjoy your life if you learn to do this and it is not difficult either.

This practice is very easy, that instead of enetering anything just watch with a peaceful mind. Make your face and mind calm and satchidanand (blissfull) and just watch . On doing this, you are trying your best . Inspite of everything, suppose the disturbance comes, don't worry. You are allowed to make mistakes. You are learning to be the seer off the outside. You are watching that this is all Ramji's leela (play), let us see what happens. Sometimes, unintentionally your mind comes into disturbance. Despite knowing all the gyan.  Sometimes we say, "this is my question and we know the answer, but still my mind is getting disturbed,. Even all the gyan is coming, still the mind is wavering," This will happen . Inspite of knowing everything. It may not be becoming calm and silent. Never mind! What happens is thaat so often your attachment to these things is very easily because they are connected witht the gross and the subtle bodies. You will cross many thing in this gyan so easily. Just sitting in the satsang, you will cross so much even without doing any sadhana, this gyan is so powerful. But there are so many attachments which are so deep, they are in the casual body and that is very, very deep.

Sometimes, when the attachment is not so deep, a bif incident will happen in your house and you will be calmand say, 'Nothing hapened!' At other tomes such a small thing will happen, and you will be shaken up inside and outside. You will wonder why you are so distibed for such a small thing, but this happens. It depends on what seeds are lying in your casual body. At that time, become the seer of your own self, of yourown disturbance. Just watch all your distubances and say, "Parmatma, all this is happening, but we are not allt his. " It will carry on for some time and then it will dissolve on its own.
Practice all this . It is very easy. It is likr a training. At that time you become a drishta of yourself. You will see the distubance, the trembling. But you will not get involved in it. You will say, " We are not this we are that who is seeing all this . " You will see Ramji's leela outside. Inside, you will say, " Ramji! Today you are doing so much leela today many thingsare happening!" Like this, you will gradually detach yourself and smile at yourself. So, what will happen is that, in due course of time, the mind will become silent on its own. You do not have to worry how much time it take s. It may takes a few seconds or few minutrs or a few hours, but not not too long. When you go into the drishta then the mind has a habit of silencing itslef.

All your demons are dying one by one. They don't want to die. They want to rule you. So, when they come and sit in the sharan of the Almighty all powerfull Nirakar Himself, thry all start dying inside, you are not even doing anything. On their own they start dying. When the sun comes out, all the muck starts dying up. In the same way, inside, your demons start dryong up and thry don't like it. So they try thwir best to hold you. That is why sometimes you feel suffocated. That is why this path is walking on the edge of swaord. Mostly it is beautiful, but when the demons are dying, then it is painful.

The guru says, don't fear, just keep moving forward. Bhagwan says, you will have to drink a bit of poison to get the ultimate amrit.
