INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC HAS RELIGION - HINDU

Music may not have religion, but Indian Classical Music does. Deal with it.

Yes. Indian music/dance coming from Saam Veda and Natya Shastra.
It has spiritual dimensions and that is ONLY Hindu.
It is not like Pop or Jazz. You want a music without Hinduism then go for them.

Indian Music

The dhimmi sickular will now say Listen to Pt. Bhimsen Joshi singing Tum rab tum sahib..... Listen to Parveen Sultana singing Bhavani dayani.... I can flood your timeline... Listen to @ Lahore Music listen to the azan of Hridaynath Mangeshkar in yara silisili...

LOL, few vidvans singing songs makes strips it away from its sacred origins? Have you studied shastriya sangita? Or just a YouTube listener.

People here devote their lives to study it and realise the Gods. First learn before giving tuitions and while you’re at it, listen to sangita jnanamu bhakti vina, nadopasana, the navavarnams, the tirumurai paasurams, the divya prabandhams.
Your ganga jamni tehzeeb you can keep in your own house.

A little expansion, We felt is necessary to complement this statement.

The primal origin of Śāstrīya Saṅgīta has been the Sāmaveda, this has been taught as a part of the Guru-Śiṣya Paramparā for all neophytes initiated in classical music training.

There is a large body of texts dedicated to music in our culture, pertinent excerpts from a couple of them. The first being Bṛhaddeśi.

The below is well articulated in Śrī Tyāgarājasvāmi's immortal kṛti: Nāda tanum aniśam śaṅkaram. Nāda is also of the utmost importance in sadhana.

Take the beautiful Kalyāṇavasantam kṛti: Nādalōluḍai brahmānandamandavē manasā. A good rendition may as well immerse one in Brahmānubhūti.

The second work I'll quote is from Saṅgītanārāyaṇa by Puruṣottama Miśrā along with the Gajapati King Nārāyaṇadeva.

The sacred origins, or at least the association of divinity with music has been going on since the inception and up to the final stages of development. Nādopāsanā or Saṅgītopāsanā is fundamentally an act of worship.
Delving further into the Southern variant of Indian Classical Music (ICM), the very basic aspects of music are twofold. The phrase goes: Śruti mātā layam pitā.

The building blocks of music are the svara-s. The svara-s are not only heptatonic scales, but devata-s in themselves! (Ignore errors in spelling. Pic courtesy of Śrīmati Rajam)

The seven svara-s in their variations form 72 Melakartā-s, as classified by Śrī Veṅkaṭamakhin. These rāga-s of course have deeply spiritual names, associated with various popular Hindu deities. They are also classified into 12 groups of 6 rāga-s. These are called Cakra-s.

The names in the pink circle are the cakra-s. Notice their names.
Indu - Moon - 1
Netra - Eyes - 2
Agni - the 3 Vedic Fires - 3
Veda - the 4 Vedas -4
So on and so forth.

Are you telling me, that ICM has nothing to do with religion??

Bāṇa - The 5 arrows of Kāmadeva - 5
Ṛtu - The 6 seasons - 6
Ṛṣi - The 7 Rishis - 7
Vasu - The 8 Vasus - 8
Brahma - Unclear but likely a reference to the city with 9 gates - 9
Diśi - The 10 cardinal directions - 10
Rudra - The 11 Rudras - 11
Āditya - The 12 Adityas - 12

The innermost circle divides the 72 Ragas into two halves; the first half having shuddha madhyama in the Arohanam and Avarohanam, while the second half has prati madhyama (komal ma in Hindustani - Just a small clarification. In Hindustani classical music there is no Komal Ma. There is Shuddha Ma and Teevra Ma ( half note higher to Shuddha Ma) like the Ma in Yaman is Teevra Ma. Komal Swaras are generally half a note lesser than Shuddha Swaras. So Ra,Ga,Dha,No have Shuddha+ As well as Komal Swaras. ma has Shuddha and Teevra. And Sa and Pa as rightly said are constant and fixed.).

The next circle divides the 72 into 12 groups of 6 ragas called chakras. The names are given Indu, Netra, Agni... etc.

The next circle gives the common svaras of each chakra. The rishabha and gandhara are the common ones.

The next circle shows the changes in dhaivata and nishada of each raga and the last circle gives the number and the name which are arranged according to the Katapayadi Sankhya.

Shadja and Panchama are not mentioned as they’re unmoving or achala svaras.

If you have doubts about the Katapayadi Sankhya, please refer to the following on the Kaṭapayādi Saṅkhyā based on something really interesting I read recently. The Kaṭapayādi is an encoding scheme used to map Saṃskṛta akṣaras with numerals. This was interestingly used in sūtras and classification, which I will explain in the following.

Kaṭapayādi is mapped as such, we know that we have certain classified consonants in the Indic character scheme, the name itself reveals as much, Ka (क), Ṭa (ट), Pa (प), Ya (य). Using this the characters are categorized into Kādi nava, Ṭādi nava, Pādi Pañcama, Ya ityādi.

As you can see below, each of the consonant has a specific but not unique number assigned to it. Using the consonants, the number is found by reversing numbers obtained from the first two akṣaras of the word and locating an appropriate position or getting a value.

Note: Vowels get a value of 0.

Now, we examine this in the case of the Melakartā Rāga scheme of Carnatic music. There are 72 rāgas and they have an exact arrangement. Let's take the example of Hanumatoḍi, Ha = 8, Na = 0 --> 08. The rāga Hanumatoḍi is the 8th rāga in the list.

This scheme is used in a very very interesting way in the Lalitā Sahasrnāma Bhāṣya by Śrī Bhāskararāya, where he quotes a verse by his guru Nṛsimhānandanātha.

I praise Tripurā Who is the Treasure House of the race, Who is of red complexion, Whose limbs resemble those of Kāmarāja, Who is much praised by the Three Gods of the Three Qualities, Who is a Secret Deity, Who dwells in the Bindu, and Who manifests the Universe. (R. A. Sastry)

Apart from giving a word by word commentary on this verse, Bhaāskarāya uses Kaṭapayādi as a mnemonic device to keep count of certain names of the Goddess from the Sahasranāma.
Tripurā - Pa = 1, Ra = 2 --> 21, there are thus 21 names in the LS beginning with Tri: Trinayanā etc.

To read that commentary is a thrill, and to note that such devices were used in a meaningful manner to encode 2-3 layers of meaning makes the reading of ancient sūtras all the more exciting.

The most obvious use of katapayAdi saMkyA hidden in plain sight - the 18 steps leading to sannidhanam in Sabarimala 18 - KS for जप. 18 chapters in mahAbAratha gIta - importance o 18!

Profound Sanskrit scholars have even used the same scheme to denote value of dates/years. A work talking about shankarAmbA-samudram uses the  word 'chAnnOdaka' in the verse. The word adds meaning to the context as well as denotes year 1806 SAlivAhana Saka.

which truly explains why Indian Classical Music is deeply entrenched in our religion HINDU and originates from it.

You can get a copy of it here: https://t.co/p7fY0gRyNA

Have heard Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri’s Narayaniyam was based on Katapayadi number system. Towards the end of it has Ayuraarogya Sowkhyam - May the Lord bless you with Ayur, arogya ...
However this Ayuraraogya Sowkhyam is a number When decodified to Kali-dina, represents the period of composition The 7 digits when decodified will represent the 16th century.

Need to do more R & D though.

Here is quick tribute to Bhūtasaṃkhyā number system, yet another number system like Katapayadi

1857 REBELLION LEADER BABU SAHEB VEER KUNWAR SINH - IMMORTAL RAJPUTS

"Vijay Kriti Stambh" located on d bank of d ‘Surahi River’ in Kayamnagar of Bhojpur(Bihar).

While crossing Ganga at Balia, Douglas's army opened fire which severely injured Kunwar's left wrist. The fear of excessive blood loss and infection due to bullet injury, 80 year old Kunwar unsheathed his sword and cut his hand himself and offered it to Ma Ganga as tribute. The amputation caused a lot of blood loss which contributed to his rapidly deteriorating health. Even in those circumstances, he primed for yet another battle against Captain LeGrand. This was his last one, fought on 23 and 24th April 1858 against the British near Jagdishpur, and he emerged victorious, but was heavily wounded.

He brought down the British flag from Jagdishpur Fort and unfurled his flag. He passed away three days later because of his wounds but before dying he hoisted his flag and proclaimed independence.

Babu Saheb veer kunwar singh at Babu Kunwar Singh Smriti Sangrahalay, Bhojpur, Bihar

He died a free man.

It's an epitome of d bravery of a 80 Years Old Freedom Fighter "Babu Veer Kunwar Singh". It was at Sheopur Ghat that the hero of 1857 drew his sword and cut off his hand after being injured by the bullets of the British forces..... There are four such Vijay Stambhs in the memory of Babu Kunwar Singh in Bhojpur district - Kayam Nagar, Bibiganj, Buzurg & Sheopur Ghat.

(Vīr Kunwar Siṃha indeed followed
But Veer Kunwar Singh never got his due....

अंग्रेज इतिहासकार होम्स इनकी वीरता पर मुग्धर होकर अपनी पुस्तक में लिखता है----The Old Rajput who has fought so honourabluy and so bravely against the british power died on 26 april 1858

OVER 30 MILLION PILGRIMS - KANWAR YATRA INDIA'S BIGGEST ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE

🤔🤔🤔

As the sacred month of Shravan starts, the tremendously anticipated Kanwar Yatra is likewise all situated for the month long function and loving master Shiva. Kanwariasare the ones who convey enriched “Kanwar” or shaft on their shoulder with the secured water pots adjusted on its two finishes

The reasonable, one of the greatest religious gatherings of north India, pulls in excess of 3 crores Shiva lovers. The yatra is not simply bound to men. Countless additionally partake in the profound adventure. Individuals pick to go on the Kanwar yatra with some wish or plan. The custom is that the water pot should not touch the ground work the time of sancification. NGO’s set up temporary stands where the pots could be kept and set up sustenance and therapeutic stalls to coddle the Kanwarias. The profile of a normal kanwaria is changing and individuals from wealthier areas, including business people are embraced the adventure. Why kanwarias offer Ganges water in the Shravan month? There are a few samples in mythology:

  1. The custom of convey Kanwar began in the Treta Yuga. Ruler Ramahad conveyed the blessed Ganges water from Sultanganj in a kanwar and offered to Lord Shiva at Babadham.
A Kanwar pilgrim, drawn by Shoberl, 1823
    Azimvth Ashram
“Ganges Pilgrims Passing a Ghaut”. The Illustrated London News 1864
  2. At the point when the agitating of seas –Samudra Manthan– occurred in the month of Shravan, fourteen separate sorts of rubies turned out. Thirteen of these were appropriated amongst the evil presences, aside from Halahal (toxin). Ruler Shiva drank the Halahal and put away it in his throat. Subsequently the name Neelkantha (importance blue throat) is ascribed to Shiva.
To lessen the solid impact of toxic substance, Lord Shiva wore the sickle moon on his head. All the Gods from there on began offering the Ganges water to Lord Shiva to reduce the impact of toxic substance. Since, this happened in the month of Shravan, from that point forward the Shiva enthusiasts offer the Ganges water in the not so distant future.
  3. As indicated by the Puranas, the daemonruler Ravanahad brought the Ganges water from Haridwar and offered to Lord Shiva.

In mythology Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh connotes the controllers of begin of a work, doing the work and finishing the work separately (inventor, coordinator and destroyer or slowing down). Mahesh or Shiva thusly is the controller of any work which needs slowing down. On the off chance that any undertaking is not getting finished we love Lord Shiva for direction. The Kanwar method for love is to enjoy a profound reprieve, unwind, serenade to occupy the brain, go far from the distressing circumstance and on the route ( at har ki pori) you will get Self enthusiasm and plans ( a loose personality is an imaginative personality). Gathering ganga Jal from har ki pori implies gathering those self created positive inventive considerations and convey them once more to your work place for utilization in finishing the remaining undertake.

The Yatra takes place during the sacred month of Shravan (Saawan) (July-August), according to the Hindu calendar. Shravan is considered the holiest month in the Hindu calendar with many religious festivals and ceremonies.Kanwariyas are young men performing a ritual pilgrimage, in which they walk, sometimes hundreds of miles, to the Ganges River to take its sacred waters back to Hindu temples in their hometowns. During the Hindu lunar month of Shravana, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims can be seen walking the roads of India, clad in saffron, and carrying ornately decorated canisters of water over their shoulders.

Kanwariyas walk on (or drive through in trucks) the roads of India, clad in saffron, and carrying ornately decorated canisters of sacred water from the Ganges River over their shoulders to take them back to Hindu temples in their hometowns.Kanwariyas are Hindus and worshippers of Hindu God Shiva. Some carry metal canisters filled with holy water from the Ganges River in Allahabad, which they then take home. Many Kanwariyas pilgrims travel through lucknowKanwariya pilgrims collect Ganges water from the river in Hardwar. They carry and store this holy water in kanwar containers and then offer water to the Shivlinga at the ancient temple. Some Devotees participate in 51 feet Kanwar Shova [shobha?] yatra in Patna city. The shova yatra travels to Deodhar in Jharkhand to pray at the Baidyanath temple.IINEW DELHI: The journey is a test of grit and determination and a show of piety.

The saffron-clad devotees, weighed down by pots holding water from the Ganga at Haridwar or Gaumukh, walk almost 40 kilometres each day, most of them preferring to traverse the distance barefoot. Bruised feet and shoulders are the least of their problems. Several are felled by stomach bugs, many others by dehydration and fatigue. But the kanwariyas soldier on."It is a trial of faith and once you complete the kanwar yatra successfully, your wish is granted by Lord Shiva. The yatra also gives you inner peace and that is what inspires devotees to undertake the gruelling walk every year," said Rishipal Yadav, a devotee.
The kanwar yatra is indeed the Shiva bhakt's gratitude for wishes granted or undertaken in penance in the hope of some boon being granted by the poison-ingesting destroyer of the Hindu trinity. In mythology, Lord Shiva nobly swallowed the poison released by the churning of the oceans and the gods offered him Ganga water to lessen the bite of the toxin.

Ever since, people carry water from the Ganga and take to their own temples to offer to Shiva.Among the estimated seven lakh from Delhi who annually undergo the week-long privations, a majority are people living on the margins of society. For the kanwariyas from such sections, the yatra gives them a little more than just spiritual succour. It is a special time of the year when they feel empowered, a period when social standing no longer matters. "Everybody is a devotee of Lord Shiva, and his or her class and caste slips into insignificance," said Chaudhary Premjit of Balaji Seva Sanstha, which is running a camp for kanwariyas at Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi. At this time, therefore, even those who are treated as inferiors throughout the year see themselves as socially equal to everyone, this being evidenced in the way they are addressed. Nobody is called by name or surname. That would betray caste.

So, each is 'Bhole' to the other. The policemen, who intimidate them daily, now facilitate their dominance of the roads. The government, businesses and industries go all out to guarantee them food and comfort. This year, 116 camps have been set up in the capital with funds from Delhi government. Many others have come courtesy companies, trusts and NGOs.
In this brief period in the month of Sawan, the kanwariyas like to believe they are kings of the thoroughfares. This sense of power is elating and the marginalised youth look forward to the yatra, often asserting their days-long right with aggression. This year, that expression has taken on the keener edge of nationalism. "We are proud to be devotees of Lord Shiva, proud to be Hindus and proud to be Indians, so why not showcase our feelings?" asked Rishi Prasad, who held aloft the tricolour, on the stretch between Dhaula Kuan and Karol Bagh.Around Prasad, there was a profusion of the saffron, white and green of the Indian flag amid the dominating Hindu hue of saffron. Many of the national flags were several metres long, visually depicting the might of the nation.

Patriotic songs, added Prasad, "give us the strength to help us power on". While many undertake the yatra out of personal faith, others are now clearly getting involved in the annual pilgrimage to assert their political-religious identity. In this mix of devotion to god and country, there are others too from affluent families and professions. The kanwariyas travel in raucous groups in cars and mini-trucks on specially barricaded portions of the national highways to Haridwar and Gaumukh and then walk home with the Ganga water on their shoulders. The protocol for transmitting the holy water contained in the kanwars to their hometowns is decided by the devotee's chosen code of difficulty."Kanwariyas are very particular about the type of kanwar they want to carry as each is related to a different level of devotion," explained Narinder Rathi, who himself chose the jhoola kanwar this year. The more difficult the task — dak bam requires the water carrier to be constantly running — the greater the divine blessing. The Kanwari(y)asWhen They Run To DeogharLakhs of kanwarias make it to the temple town of Deoghar every year and the numbers continue to be on the rise,

Balancing act Kanwarias have become a countrywide phenomenon

How and when did the practice of carrying water from the Ganga to a Shiva temple become a mass phenomenon involving crores of people? In 2010 the number touched a crore in Haridwar.

The tradition traces its genesis from Deoghar, a temple town in Jharkhand. Kanwars bring water from the Ganga in Sultanganj in Bihar, 105 km north of Deoghar, and offer it to Shiva in the Baidyanath temple in Deoghar.
Former irrigation minister Krishnanand Jha who grew up in Deoghar and now runs the Hindi Vidyapeeth says the number of kanwarias rose steadily after the 1970s. Earlier, only a few thousand would undertake the yatra, that too only on Maha Shivratri. There was also a mela in bhadon, the month after saawan (shravan/ sravan), wherein farmers would celebrate after the seasonal labours had ended.
“Only rich Marwari families from Kolkata came to spend saawan in Deoghar. What the rich do usually becomes fashionable; with increasing incomes and better transport, more and more people began to throng during saawan,” says Jha.
SANSKRIT scholar Mohananand Mishra offers references from scriptures, showing the practice was specific to Deoghar. “Kanwar may well be an Adivasi custom that spread around,” he says, adding that the saffron colour was chosen because it discourages pride and desire and makes them calm. Ironic considering the kanwarias thronging Haridwar look anything but calm.

People who have watched the kanwaria phenomenon grow in Haridwar since the 1980s explain it differently. Some say it became big in reaction to the insurgency in Punjab. Some point to a Hindu [radicalisation] after the 1992 demolition of the Babri Masjid and the communal riots that ensued. Pretty much everybody agrees that devotional songs popularised by music-magnate Gulshan Kumar’s extremely low cost audio cassettes/ CDs and videos also played a role in popularising it.
The social sciences do not seem to offer anything either on the rise of the kanwaria. Suresh Kumar, a historian and sociologist at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, says the custom in Deoghar seems to have the humility of a folk tradition. In Haridwar, the same custom has acquired the trappings of a mass cultural event with its characteristic celebration and consumption.

Deoghar and the annual pilgrimage

The walk takes an average of three days and one category called Dak kanwars run the distance in 24 hours.
On the way from Sultanganj to Deoghar, the atmosphere is a lot calmer than the Delhi-Haridwar route. Unlike its macho reputation, about a half to a third of the kanwarias are women. The calmness ends when the devotees enter the temple. The prospect of a darshan makes them desperate, resulting in chaos. The temple management and police man the queue with lathis, but it isn’t easy to maintain order.Managing lakhs of people can be a nightmare for the authorities. During saawan, The District Collector’s office shifts to the Baidyanath temple, for there is just one priority: managing the saawan mela and the hordes of kanwarias. His control room has 15-odd CCTV screens. This month-long festivity sustains the economy of this temple town of 2.5 lakh people for the rest of the year. “It’s probably one of the world’s largest annual fair of its kind,” local officials say. From hotels to curio shops, everybody plans for the fair. Street vendors book vantage spots in advance.

The temple gets 40-50 lakh kanwarias each year during saawan. An average of 90 kanwarias offer water to Baidyanath every minute. And then there are a few lakh who don’t get to worship. In 2009, the kanwar queue stretched 10 km at one point. One person takes about one foot in the queue. That is 32,000 people in the queue. One devotee had run 105 km in 28 hours. His T-shirt had his brother’s phone number hand-printed on it ‘in case I die of exhaustion’ Even with blistered feet, his energy and excitement remains unmatched. After running 105 km in about 28 hours, this may seem strange. He sits on the stairs near the exit of the premises to offer water to goddess Parvati. He hadn’t had a meal in 36 hours, only some fruits. Despite the exhaustion, he was waiting patiently for a group to get over with their darshan. Most people come with a wish, a prayer, and keep coming till the prayer is fulfilled but nobody tells you what it is. It’s only for the deity to hear. Some do the yatra just because they think it is the right thing to do with friends and family. The rest come to thank the deity after their wishes come true.

The zeal is shared by millions of other kanwarias most of whom hail from different backgrounds and regions. There are rich and poor, young and old, men and women, high castes and low castes. And yet, this lot does not show signs of aggression unlike the ones on the Delhi- Haridwar route who come across as arrogant.
But haughtiness or no haughtiness, their commitment remains unquestionable. As is the commitment of those who provide for them during these strenuous months. For a month, an Agrawal trader from Sultanganj, and his family shut their businesses and serve kanwarias. All this is done without causing inconvenience to the general public. The commuters do not get bullied. Muslim auto drivers ferry saffron-clad Hindus.

The camps en route: meals, other arrangements

After an exhausting day of marching with the Ganga on their shoulder, the kanwariyas would be grateful just to have some basic needs addressed: water, palatable food, a durrie to sleep on perhaps. But no, what awaits them at the camps dotting the capital is nothing short of lavish.
“I used to go past Sonepat to Jhajjar and then to Rewari, but the Delhi route means you are better rested and you get more facilities,“ testified Jitender Lakhra, a Haridwar-Rewari yatri. He added happily, “The camps keep getting better every year and each one wants to outdo the other.“

Every year,Centre government has funded camps, tying up with registered NGOs to organise these stop-overs. There are sev eral others put up by private companies, making for around 150 altogether. At these camps the weary kanwariyas can rejuvenate t h e m s e l ve s w i t h f re s h ly squeezed fruit juices, jaljeera and lassi and then partake of an enviable array, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner.

“they have spared no expenses to ensure the kanwariyas are well rested and well fed,“ said a volunteer at Mayapuri Kanwar Sangh near Karol Bagh as he handed out fresh kiwi and grapes. The pradhan of the camp, Sunil Goel, said that kanwariyas who had run out of money were even provided financial assistance. “We give from Rs 100 to 500, as the need of the kanwariya may be. We look at the water carrier as a form of God,“ said Goel.
In addition to the plenteous food, the camps have doctors in attendance and medicines to take care of most ailments. “A doctor and an assistant are available here 24 hours. The health problems range from blisters on the feet to fatigue, but some of the devotees also have dehydration, bad stomach and high fever due to infected bruises,“

Most of these camps, howev er, didn't have designated sleep ing areas for women, which could explain the low number of women yatris. “There are s e p a r at e ch a n g i n g rooms for women, but they often sleep in a common area with their families. Some women don't feel secure in common camps and prefer not to take part in yatra."

The kanwar yatra is so popular that people come forward to help the devotees in places where there is no trust or NGO to support them. In Nehru Nagar in south Delhi, people have joined hands to organise a camp. Some donated vegetables, some rice, while others contributed money to run the camp. “
Toilets are a big concern. Many camps got mobile toilets installed; others requested petrol pumps nearby to allow the kanwariyas to use their facilities. There is an occasional hitch. “Delhi government sent us a mobile toilet, but its doors are locked and nobody can use it,“

This is how Kaanwar Yatra and kaanwariyas are mentioned now

But One incident and our eminent journo who specializes in coup-fiction, fell short of declaring them as the cause of deluge in Delhi and Gurgaon. I am intrigued by the sudden attention to and animosity for Kaanwariyas in the liberal circles.
There are complaints of angry behaviour, bordering on “terror”, from kaanwariyas. The dumbing down and appalling usage of the word “terror” is shocking. One must understand that a crowd has a different mentality and a lesser bandwidth for reason vis-à-vis instigation. A crowd oppressed with travail may be even more flippant towards commuters (I mentioned my parents’ crankiness earlier). But likening them to “terror” is doing grave injustice to the people who have suffered at the hands of real “terror”.
See how reserve lane for kanwaris been enroached

The scale may be less pronounced but we are not unknown to the socio-ecological phenomenon at play here. In ecology, we study man-animal conflicts, in demography we study migration, refugee crises and the conflicts that fall out of it.
Kaanwariyas used to own the tracks, but the tracks have now been replaced by pitched roads. The cities and their motorists own the roads. There are two kinds of participants on the same route now, each unable to relate with the other’s priorities, each thinking of the other as the “invader”. Lately, governments have thought over it and laudably so:

The conflict?
But could this administrative focus have brought Kanwar Yatras into liberal focus too? A celebration so massive that governments have to ramp up and make elaborate arrangements, and that must prove to be an eyesore for the “liberals”.

Yet hundreds died every year due to mismanagment of authorities in past mia-goverment

Holi has been beaten with the stick of water conservation concerns, Diwali with environment conservation and scared stray dogs’ concerns, Maha-kumbh with drug abuse and prostitution concerns, Ganpati Puja with law & order, corruption, water pollution concerns, but fortuitously, Kaanwar Yatras were left out… until now. Will they be beaten with law and order and administrative concerns until studies are conducted in JNU, Jadhopur and by Oxbridge liberals and more solid concerns, threatening human existence on planet earth are identified?

At a time when liberals are disturbed, pained and outraged by “sudden appearance of, and rapidly increasing atrocities against Dalits under Modi”, the egalitarian tradition of Kaanwar yatras where castes and classes evaporate, should give them hope! Or could this be their biggest problem?
At a time when they’re assiduously peddling re-emergence and virulent propagation of Dailt atrocities, Kaanwar yatras stand in the way of their targeted imagery? The entire liberal ecosystem’s existence in India depends on keeping Dalits as Dalits. When dalits stop feeling wronged, there’ll be none to outrage for! More importantly, if Dalits connect with their Hindu identity, their entire dream of a divided Hindu society falls flat. This would be a giant thorn sticking from their throats right down to the liberal intestines!

Maybe it’s a combination of all these concerns for the detractors. That’s why the modern propaganda must be countered to keep these age-old traditions alive and realize their integrative potential. All the same, the genuine concerns should be dealt with administratively and with targeted messaging in order to deal with changes and conflicts.
Yet there are incidents where hindus practices constantly being targeted non stop, which we share below ..

Meat shops threw meat pieces in Kanwariyas' way to provoke them. 100% but our presstitutes n bharat tere tukde gang ji will IGNORE this.

 See this

https://t.co/DIXmUNQx4w

DM, Bareilly, said the Kanwariyas "did not have permission" to pass through the route, which fell under pockets of Muslim population.

Stone Pelted @ Hindu Pilgrims in a state ruled by Hindu Monk.

When "They" r 26%, they pelt stones on Hindu Pilgrims, whr > 60% they massacre

Yet Behind every synchronized attack by media there is always a deeper conspiracy.maybe church want Kanwariyas movement to be banned n media is preparing an atmosphere for it. everything which keeps our tradition going should be attacked.church can't stand Vibrancy of our culture. To find MSM vilifyin' Kawariyas & tradition of Kawar Yatras 4 last 15 yrs!

Seeing Kanwariyas on Delhi roads a thought came to mind that liberal hatred is though about it being a Hindu Yatra & but it is more about the class of people who do it; lower middle or lower income group people mostly from the subaltern castes. (Which they trying hard to use there breaking india mission.)

On their part the appeal of the Yatra to Kanwariyas lies in the fact that for a few days the underclasses, these invisibles own the streets and are treated as VIP by the state & administration. Not just state and administration, by people too. They were treated like image of Lord Shiva. Treated with respect, even feet touched and all. Again, perhaps the only occasion when an rich person would bow down to them. Perhaps the only time in the year....

Dis time Indian Media Mafiosis started equatin' em w Muzzie Rogues..unfortunate. West Delhi incident reflects Sheer Disdain of Privileged Delhi wallahs towards people Maintain in Tradition !

Saw a clip about vandalism by some people and the instant vilification of not just Kanwariyas but the entire tradition. There was also a news report of them being attacked, which seems to be getting conveniently ignored. So why is an altercation (of whatever nature or intensity, between few people being made out to be a “Kanwariyas bring a bad name to Hinduism” kind of a convo?

So the incident of the car being vandalised in Delhi by Kawariyas was triggered after the woman driver slapped the Kawariya she had hit/brushed. Classic Delhi road rage.
Today's TOI has published the girl's statement and she has admitted to TOI

Woman's version in today's TOI

having slapped the Kawariya Now wondering why d woman has categorically refused to register a case.

If the woman slapped, she should be arrested too,
MSM presstitutes makes it look like only the woman/car driver is entitled to outrage and slap, while Kanwariyas don’t.

You are right. Muslims are entitled to "space" for Namaaz. However Hindus doing yearly yatra on same route where they travelled for 1000+ years deserve the presstitues MSM's scorn

Meet Osama and Arif, the new Kawarias on the block

More proof that an organized campaign's been launched, to disrupt n demonise every hindu (native ) practices..

We know this is separate, but why to kill conspiracy angle when things have been done in the past.WB,Delhi church attack, recent Ramanavami rally in all these cases things were done to project Hindus as hooligans,But remain silent when proved otherwise.

But you will never heard from sucb presstitutes about haj pilgrimage ( but kya kaheinJo Gire Huye Insaan Hain Wo Jahan Bhi Jayenge Gandagi Hi Karenge, Kuchh Ghar Mein , Kuchh Mohalle Mein, Kuchh Rishtedari Mein, Kuchh Twitter Par, Yahan Tak Ki Kuchh To Hajj Par Bhi Gandagi Harqaton Se Baaj Nahin Aate.....

Now see this other daily anti hindu venom spilling presstitute licking their ......... Forefathers

When Kanwariyas walk on the streets once a year, that’s an encroachment of public space, but Muslims taking over public spaces every day is their right!! #BecauseLiberalsAreFanatics

Why govt.. Govt ne kaha tha kya 100 bachche paida kro woh to tumhari Aallah ki den hai naa to Aalah se Bolo place provide kre tumhe.. Road pe Naa Pooja hoti hai naa Namaj hogi.. Tumhare Masjid hai ghr hai Woha Pado Namaj. 95% Muslim ka kaam hai ashanti faliana n they r peacefull

( But aag lagi hui logon me ki itna support kese kr rhi h gov inhe , phool barsaye ja rhe h, DJ bj rhe hai)
For a moment keep aside the fact that they were kanwariya..Can any women or man escape w/o physical response after slapping someone

It's a miracle that even after slapping kanwariya after hitting him by car, that she is not hit back, rather her car.

Now imagine if its a muhharam instead

Bharat tere tukde gang are not against vandalism, vandalism happens every now and then during strikes and rallies, they are against kanwariyas, because their privileged, elitist and prejudiced ass don't want to share road with non elitist people for few days.( These idiots will stand for hours every Friday when roads are blocked but these 3-5 days, fixed every year, they can't plan their life ... Lame loosers..Lol )

Such Hate for Hindus?

Kanwar Yatra has been going for thousands of years, its said that Sage Parshuram was the first "Kanwar"

For decades millions of kanwars hv undertaken this Yatra peacefully

& Now without any enquiry presstitutes here calls all Kanwars "Thugs"?

Shame!

2 vandalism incident out of 5 crore kanwariyas, of course there are some miscreants in 5 crores, and where exactly miscreants are not present ? show me a group of 20 people and I will show you 5 miscreants among them who are ready to mischievous acts if given chance.

Now they problem with authorties showering flowers

They have no problems when govts build grand Haj Houses etc for those going on subsidies for annual Haj,

But surely they can do a lot more than showering petals on Kanwarias during their annual yatra?

Why are siculars librandus in pain?

1.State patronizes Kanwarias.

2.Kanwarias are thugs.

3.Kanwaria thugs have become fearless criminals.

4.There is public anger against Kanwarias.

5.Public anger is likely to spill over onto streets.

Try to figure out logical connections in this construct..& they calls others idiot

Wonder when we call these crooks as

Media Thugs

Now Misconception About Kanwariyas -

only unemployed people go to kanwars.

Reality -some of them earn more than you earn in ur call center, marketing, by writing a scoopwhoop article for 400  or by doing a paid tweet for 50 rupees.Go to a kanwar shivir and talk to some of them, you will get to know

Around 35 Devotees of Lord Shiva from UP undertook the annual pilgrimage, Kanwar Yatra, carrying a 361-feet long Indian Flag in the memory of Martyrs.

In another example 4 brothers carried their parents on kanwar

It hurt you bharat tere tukde gang coz( you are ashamed of your parents) your type abandoned ur parent in old age home n have problem with anyone who respects parents/ancestors, how can they spare who journey hundreds of kilometers bare footed carrying there parents on shoulders

( Now this would be drama for many bharat tere tukde anti native gang,, for those loosers  if this drama is so easy, we suggest you should try it next time. Who knows you might get much more publicity! )
Now, Waiting for the reaction of presstitutes who said that Kanwariya's are the best example of unemployment.
(have meet regularly of ppl pan India.. billionaries they say.. dey walk barefoot out of devotion.)

Another misconception -

Thoug authorties have right under Cl.3.7.2(13) of Managing Crowd at Events & Venues of Mass Gathering by NDMA, has provision to prohibit vehicle movement.🚫

Most of hindus (native) Spiritual journey abruptly ended due to law & order obstacles caused by self-obsessed people driving carelessly & slapping pilgrims.

One more misconception-

Police and state gives free hand to Kanwariyas.

In Reality -

when they misbehave police treat them  like *"any other hooligan"*.

Some pics from last year

("Any other hooligans?!"* Show me pics of police treating shab-e-barat or Muharram hooligans similarly. Reality is that kanwariyas or any hindu pilgrims are always treated more harshly by police.)

And you see, how the narrative makes people brand the entire Kanwar tradition Goondaism! Are we doomed?

7 aug 2018 incident where one citizen accompanied his ailing friend in an ambulance from Shahdara to Kashmere Gate, The road was jam packed due to eveng rush & Kanwar yatra, To their surprise it was not the daily commuters but the Kaanwariyas who made arrangements for their quick passage frm lanes allotted to them.

( If instead of kanwarias it had been skull chopundies Ms, nobody would have called it fake n presstitues would have made it highlight of all global news n recommendation debates would have been started for eartg ratna, but being hindu here That is the tragedy of this presstitues sicular country. )

Some even started running aside them asking those traveling ahead to give  side to the ambulance, special thanks to three friends riding pillion on bullet who accompanied them for nearly 3-4km and helped them by asking the travellers ahead of giving side to our Ambulance.

Yet bharat tere tukde gang like (khangressy aapiye commie jehadi missionary pay dolts)  hardly cares as it doesnt suit there mission to demonise any native heritage especially majority hindu ones

Propaganda against Kanwarias by  Sickulars is exposed!

Request you to read police primary report to understand propaganda against Kanwarias by  Sickulars and their bharat tere tukde gang.

It seems a simple road rag case but painted otherwise to defame this nobel and popular pilgrimage.

Why can we not wait for facts to emerge?
Can the act of vandalism not be denounced without acting as the judge, jury & executioner in a jiffy?Let's put online activism to good use. A little less self-flagellation, perhaps?  Why the hurry to readily contort it into something that it is not? I had a wonderful experience yesterday which I shared with some close friends.

Sharing it here for dharmics to remember that Kanwariyas are people like us – human beings. They are our brethren who have the inclination, intent and courage to live upto their faith and carry out the tradition of this sacred land.

They are the ones who the financially well-off upwardly mobile, urban dwellers out to scout the next weekend outing might dismiss as LS. The disdain that emanates from them towards these “rowdies” wasting their time,

jamming their traffic and blocking their roads is the contempt that those firmly rooted in the material plan have for those who realize that there is more to life. I hope they realise that those who know that there is more to life than physical wealth, actually have nothing but compassion for their incessant, mindless focus on money instead of abundance.I live in an area which also sees some movement of Kanwariyas during the traditional season.

They walk along the edge of the road, for, there are no pedestrian paths earmarked. They cling to the sides, carrying Kawars with devotion. I have never once witnessed them inconveniencing others. In fact, the lack of footpaths and vrooming cars in the maddening traffic is an inconvenience for them.

Roads are NOT meant only for vehicles. No, they are not. This vital fact seems to escape the attention of those who keep cribbing and abusing these devoted souls. There was one instance in the current season when a vehicle ferrying the devotees was coming from the wrong side and that too due to some confusion.

Even then, these youngsters patiently directed traffic into saner lanes and ensured that there was NO inconvenience caused to people. They were so disciplined that I could not but smile at the enthusiastic, polite younsgetrs.

The genuine affectionate smile that I got in return was humane and connected. Yesterday while driving to work, I spotted some Devotees walking along the route. I suddenly recalled a thoughtful message by one gentleman online about donating fruits to their shivir. Since there is no shivir there, I stopped my car and honked at one of them to draw attention.

I offered some money which he outrightly refused. I had to repeatedly convince him saying, "Aap Kawar le kar jaa rahe hain na.. Meri aur se le lijiye. Mei Toh Jaa Nahi Rahi. Itna Toh Aap Kar Sakte Hain.” Only after repeated insistence did he take that money from me and I was on my way.

We did nothing worth mentioning.

What that guy with Kawar on his shoulders, wearing regular chappals, walking quietly along the road with no space earmarked for pedestrians, did is something that needs mentioning. He went about minding his own business as unobtrusively as he could. That is why when I saw that report and the outrage and the self-flagellation, we wondered if by not sharing my experience,

am I supporting this negative imagery being created of yet another Hindu tradition. Why are those posh people who stoically face traffic jams every day have a problem with Kanwariyas?( but they share roads happily for Namaz )

It's wrong to say kanwariyas are blocking the roads..

the bloody roads came up in the routes where traditional kanwar yatra took place.

In places like dilli , gurgaon, Noida etc every middle class house owns at least 2 cars. In addition to countless 2 wheelers and autos and cabs on the road. It's not sustainable.

We need better mass transit buses n metros.
Have we ever bothered to pause, think & ask ourselves and the authorities about the non-existent footpaths?Should centuries old traditions be stopped because of such thoughtlessness?

Should tradition lie low&devotion die down because of a propped up 1 sided narrative. If only we inculcate the behavior of not labeling, judging, pouncing on what’s being fed to us,shall we realize&remember that sometimes the truth falls through the cracks that we ourselves widen.

And for those crying loosers, Try slapping anyone in ANY Morcha/Rally/Procession - the results will be similar, It has become our habit to condemn our own without knowing details, There may be 2/3 crores of Kanwariys on the move. 1/2 incidents & every 1 gives no credit to crores who walk 100s km without creating trouble. To me it is snobbish to attack them bcz they come 4m lower strata

Delhi Police makes first arrest in the "kanwariya" vandalise car incident..

Who is the arrested kanwar?

Name: Rahul Billa

Profession:a renowned criminal involved in car thefts around Uttam Nagar who was posing as a Kanwariya

some sources and aapiye outcry shows signs that kanwariya's violence issues has been intentionally done by hardcore Aap chutias, they played similar communal politics by wielding swords outside mosque and by attacking church in vikaspuri Delhi in 2015..

this seems preplanned and done with intention to create propaganda again.

it is also being heard that before 2019 LS, these bharat tere tukde gang up is ploting big ...

Now when it has been cleared that in all incidents ( bulandsahar,delhi....) jihadist & criminals are involved then will u apologize for defaming kanwariyas and specially up gov and police ?

Media should hang its head in shame ,,another instance of willfully slandering Hindu festivals & yatra.

Yet it our fault that we always fell easy prey to these traps from last millenia continously...

We Hindus can't even defend tiniest Kaanwariyas ruckus and flowers being showered on them while anti Hindus are defending Mass Murderers like Aurangzeb and Babur. Let this sink in.

People are bashing Kanwar yatris right and left. Wait and watch, I'm 100% sure these are not true kanwariyas but some goondas in disguise, who did this so that Kanwar yatra could be demonized by the media & the libtards.

We've learnt this lesson the hard way-- We will not condemn anything regarding our holy festivals and yatras till the complete truth comes to light. Enough of knee jerk reactions.
